Description

"For Your Information" was a newsletter produced by the Office of University News and Publications at Texas Tech University for distribution to faculty and staff. It covered the highlights of what was happening at the university and listed upcoming events. The issues here are comprised of 17 issues that run from August 6, 1975 to May 12, 1976. Topics covered include re-division of the College of Arts and Sciences; design approval for the El Paso Health Center; extension of Indiana Avenue and a campus loop system; dedication of the new Home Economics Building; the hiring of Preston Smith; expansion of the School of Medicine and steps to remove it from probation; construction and new additions to the Ranching Heritage Center; Charter Day ceremony; naming of the study library in Horn Hall; the first scholarships for female athletes; dedication of the Amarillo Health Center; donation of the carillon bell to Tech; and the working relationship between Lubbock's hospital district and the School of Medicine.
