This issue covered topics such as the rise in arrests over marijuana smoking; history of the American Civil Liberties Union and their local membership drive in Lubbock; opposition to wire tapping; a list of popular slang terms; Ben Barnes political career; Bill of Rights for women; editorials for students to have more say in what happens on campus and for more liberal dorm policies; a guide to wine; the American radical movement; a new counter-culture shopping center in Lubbock called "Prairie Dog Town"; pregnancy counseling and abortion; an anti-war convention in Chicago; overpopulation and killing of stray animals; Paper-Can Day in Lubbock; and how to use and purchase incense. The issue is the "Gala Christmas Issue 1970" and sold for 25 cents.
